Ladies and gentlemen, today I have the pleasure of introducing you to baby Sadie!
I think we can all agree: Her sweet little face should earn her a spot on the cover of every baby magazine in the nation! Seriously, I'm practically melting from cuteness overload!
Anyway, as you can see from the pictures below, Sadie and I had one of the best sessions together. Her mom, Audra, fed Sadie and gave her a bath just before her in home session. Her preparation efforts allowed us to have an especially awesome shoot together because Sadie was relaxed and sleepy. For three weeks old at the time of session she did fantastic!
Sadie slept most of the way through the 3 hour session. And when she wasn't sleeping, Sadie was pretty happy and calm. She couldn’t have been any better.
“I wasn't worried I was so excited! The pictures turned out amazing,” says Audra.
Because the shoot went so well, I asked Audra if she would share one helpful piece of advice with other mothers planning a newborn session (See – I've got your back, moms around the world). Her biggest piece of advice is: “I would tell them to be patient! And to maybe give them a bath and feed them right before so they are nice and sleepy. I would tell them to trust the photographer and their vision and be ready to help whenever needed.”
Without further adieu, Ms. Sadie!
